Regional Sales Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop new protein food ingredients from fungi mycelium.
- Take responsibility over the production line, managing a production operator.
- Manage the technological food ingredient development process, considering nutritional, regulatory, sensory, quality, and production requirements.
- Identify and address potential risks, implement food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
- Optimize protein processing techniques and production methods to improve efficiency, quality, shelf life, and safety.
- Coordinate kitchen, pilot plant, and factory trials.
- Research and implement formulation techniques for stabilizing compounds.
- Maintain accurate records of product formulations, process parameters, and test results.
- Work with Chefs on new applicative products in the meat & poultry market
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of B2B sales or account management experience.
- At least 1 year of experience selling food ingredient into the food service industry.
- Proven record of successfully expanding sales with new and existing leads.
- Experience with cold reach-outs.
- Ability to take the initiative with new ideas and strategies.
- B.A in Business or another relevant field.
